ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Dundee, I am currently based in Glasgow and working as a multimedia journalist. My passions lie in language, travel and facilitating open communication across cultural borders. These interests come together in my career as a journalist and translator.

I have been fortunate enough to spend extensive periods of time living abroad, most notably in Russia, France and Berlin. I am fascinated by the intercultural and political relations in Europe today. My time abroad has allowed me to dig deeper into the issues that divide and unite communities.

My love for languages and travel is only matched by my ambitions as a writer, which has proved a consistently preferred mode of expression throughout my life. When not writing articles and articles, I enjoy writing creative short prose and poetry.

I am an experienced copywriter and multimedia content producer and am particularly interested in data and investigative journalism, arts and culture, international relations and social issues.
